Model HP V8486A is a V-band power sensor designed for true average-power measurement in the 50 to 75 GHz range, including application such as collision-avoidance radar, aerospace and defense, and microwave radio systems. The sensor is compatible with the company's 43X power meters, the HP 70100A MMS power meter, the HP E1416A VXI power meter, and the EPM series of power meters. The 8480 series of power sensors now spans 100 kHz to 110 GHz.
