Octoplexer For C-UAS Applications

Source: Mtron
Octoplexer

This RF octoplexer combines eight frequency-selective channels into one antenna port, supporting multiband counter-drone systems with low insertion loss and high channel isolation.

With a legacy of supporting RF multiplexers for common data links and electronic warfare applications, Mtron introduces an RF octoplexer integrating eight frequency-selective RF channels spanning 430MHz to 5.825GHz through a common antenna port. Leveraging lumped-element, cavity, and stripline filter topologies, Mtron delivers flexible RF multiplexing solutions tailored to demanding multiband C-UAS system requirements.

Key Features:

  • Frequency Coverage: 430MHz to 5.825GHz
  • Insertion loss: <0.8dB
  • Channel to Channel isolation:40dBc
  • Size: 11.65” x 9.63” x 2.35” max.
  • Power handling: 40 W per channel, with all eight channels operating simultaneously.

Applications:

The octoplexer supports multiband RF architectures for C-UAS applications, including drone signal detection, communications monitoring, direction-finding systems, and electronic warfare. By combining eight frequency-selective RF channels through a common antenna port, it enables the reception or transmission of signals across multiple designated frequency bands within a single integrated assembly. Its low insertion loss and channel isolation help preserve signal integrity and reduce unwanted interference between RF paths, while 40 W power handling per channel supports demanding multichannel RF applications. These capabilities make the octoplexer well suited for integration into fixed-site, mobile, and platform-based counter-drone systems.
