NuPower Xtender™ L-Band And S-Band Bidirectional Amplifier: 12B04A-D30
The NuPower Xtender™ 12B04A-D30 is a bidirectional amplifier module featuring a small, broadband, high-performance RF amplifier that generates 10 watts of RF power across the L- and S-band frequencies of 1.0 to 2.5 GHz. It is ideal for use in extending the communication range of half-duplex L- or S-band transceivers running constant-envelope or near-constant-envelope waveforms.
The 12B04A-D30 model is based on the latest GaN technology and offers 30% power efficiency withing a small form factor, making it ideal for integration into space-constrained platforms. The bidirectional PA also supports adjacent radio frequency band, such as the 900 MHz Industrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) band, at lower peak power levels. The model provides more than 10 dB of transmit gain, accepts a +30 dBm RF input, operates over a wide temperature range of -30 to +60 °C.
