NoiseWave Announces Amplified Noise Source Covering 10 MHz To 10 GHz

East Hanover, NJ -- NoiseWave announces the immediate availability of the NW10G-M Amplified Noise Module. The NoiseWave NW10G-M features broadband frequency coverage from 10 MHz to 10 GHz, suitable for wireless, CATV, satellite test, and broadband high speed data test applications. NoiseWave offers users a broader bandwidth, making this module practically future proof. The NW10G-M features output power of -17 dBm and spectral flatness of +/- 3.0 dB. Internal regulation is standard and the unit operates from +15 Vdc typically drawing typically 180 mA.

The NoiseWave NW10G-M comes standard with SMA connectors and is in a low profile housing 4 in. x 1 in. x 0.5 in. Utilizing small internal parts count, delivery is typically from stock. Alternative voltages, output levels and frequencies are also available. Applications for the NoiseWave NW10G-M include built in test equipment, dithering for increased dynamic range of A/D converters, 10 Gigabit Ethernet test, UWB test, simulation of broadband signals and as an economical source for bit-error-rate (BER) and signal to noise ratio testing.
