New Ultra-Low-Noise OCXOs

Rakon has just launched a new ultra low noise crystal oscillator with unparalleled phase noise performance. The LNO (Low Noise Oscillator) is an Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) and is the oscillator of choice for the most demanding phase noise applications in the instrumentation and defence industries.

The LNO 100 series at 100 MHz offers outstanding guaranteed phase noise levels of: -165 dBc/Hz @ 1 KHz and -178 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz. The LNO also provides rapid warm-up, excellent temperature stability and low g- sensitivity. Available in various sizes (from 51 x 51 x 25 mm down to 25 x 25 x 12 mm), in SMD or through hole packages and with SMA connectors.

Applications include test and measurement equipment, synthesisers, radars (ground, naval and airborne), defence avionics and communication.
