The MXPM product line provides pioneering interconnect solutions for high-frequency and high-speed applications, operating reliably up to 90 GHz. Featuring broadband characteristics and a compact 2.54 mm (0.1 in.) pitch, MXPM assemblies enable ultra-precise and highly repeatable S-parameter measurements with minimal impedance variation at the PCB transition. The assemblies’ tight standard phase matching down to ±1 ps and excellent return and insertion loss characteristics ensure best-in-class signal integrity, supporting data analysis at rates up to 112 Gbps and beyond.

The ultra-compact design positions the MXPM assemblies as close as possible to the device under test or chip, minimizing trace lengths, reducing signal loss, and optimizing performance. An integrated magnetic locking mechanism provides a fail-safe connection, preventing mismated counterparts and ensuring consistent electrical reference, while automatic interface protection safeguards each channel from mechanical damage when disconnected.

MXPM assemblies also reduce PCB costs by protecting sensitive board materials, eliminating rough surfaces, and removing the need for hard-gold plating, making them a cost-efficient solution for complex PCB architectures.

The standard product range includes 1x8 and 2x8 breakout assemblies (MXPM-to-PC1.0 or MXPM-to-PC1.85), jumper assemblies (MXPM-to-MXPM), loopback assemblies, and straight PCB sockets, with customized assemblies available on request. By combining ultra-stable Multiflex cables, compact design, and advanced interface protection, MXPM assemblies provide reliable, high-performance connectivity for demanding applications in test, measurement, and high-speed data analysis.
