Mimix Broadband Introduces Highly Integrated, QFN Packaged Receiver With 2.5 dB Noise Figure

Mimix Broadband, Inc. recently introduced a 27 to 34 GHz QFN packaged receiver with a noise figure of 2.5 dB and 13 dB conversion gain. This receiver, identified as XR1019-QH, integrates a low noise amplifier (LNA), image reject mixer and LO buffer amplifier within a fully molded 4x4mm QFN package, making the device easy to install and handle in volume applications. The XR1019-QH is ideal for wireless communications applications such as point-to-point (PTP) microwave radio, LMDS, SatCom and VSAT.
"The XR1019-QH provides radio designers with an invaluable receiver solution in the 28 GHz and 32 GHz PTP radio bands," stated David Richardson, Product Line Director, Mimix Broadband, Inc. "This device is packaged in a standard plastic 4x4mm QFN package and has excellent noise figure and solid conversion gain performance over the full band."
Mimix performs 100% RF, DC and noise figure testing on the XR1019-QH. Production quantities will be available in 8-10 weeks. Technical support is also available from Mimix's applications engineers at 281.988.4600.
