Millitech’s MWA Millimeter Wave Motorized Waveguide Attenuators are rotary vane devices that provide very accurate and repeatable attenuation. They’re ideal for applications involving automated data acquisition, systems with AGC requirements, and automated test equipment.
These millimeter wave motorized waveguide attenuators have a front panel keypad for manual operation, an LCD screen, status LED indicators, GPIB and Ethernet compatibility, and more. The controller for the attenuator is available in both single and dual configurations. The heart of the controller is a microprocessor which drives a stepper motor to achieve the desired attenuation. The attenuation values are selected in less than 5 seconds by a quiet DC motor capable of 125,000 incremental steps.
