Microwave Development Labs Shows Satcom Waveguide Components At Satellite 2013 Exhibition

Microwave Development Labs, Inc. (www.mdllab.com), one of the leading suppliers of high-frequency rotary joints, castings, and waveguide components for satellite-communications (satcom) systems, will be joining a host of exhibitors at one of the largest major events for satcom system developers, the Satellite 2013 Conference & Exhibition. The Conference is scheduled for March 18-21, 2013 while the Exhibition, with more than 350 companies already registered, will run from March 19-21, 2013. Satellite 2013 (www.satellitetoday.com) is scheduled to be held in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (Washington, DC).

Microwave Development Labs (MDL) will be present at Satellite 2013 at exhibition booth No. 7093. The firm’s representatives will be showing examples of its low-loss passive waveguide components for ground- and space-based satcom applications from 1 to 50 GHz. Product lines, which support voice, video, and Internet communications on board both satellites and for satcom earth stations, include waveguide directional couplers, phase shifters, power dividers/combiners, rotary joints, switches, and waveguide assemblies.

MDL will have on display new high frequency coaxial and waveguide rotary joints, microwave investment castings, loop couplers and adapters.  Staff members will be on hand at Satellite 2013 to discuss the company’s extensive in-house design and manufacturing capabilities for creating custom waveguide components, waveguide-to-coaxial adapters, and specialized waveguide multifunction assemblies.
