Micronetics Acquires Microwave & Video Systems

Microwave component and test equipment manufacturer Micronetics Wireless has acquired Microwave & Video Systems Inc. (MVS), a designer of microwave control components and subassemblies.

Based in Danbury, CT, MVS microwave control components includes pin diode switches, switch/fiber banks, and integrated assemblies. These products are employed in communications, receiver, radar, simulation, and electronic intelligence equipment

Once the acquisition is complete, Floyd Parin will remain as president of MVS. Parin has more than 20 years experience in microwave control components sales and marketing.

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless designs and manufactures a range of microwave components and test equipment in the design, testing and manufacturing of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop (WLL), and satellite equipment. Through its switching products group, the company also manufactures components primarily used in radar, electronic intelligence, wireless communication, and simulation applications.
