Micronetics Acquires Control Component Manufacturer

Test equipment and component manufacturer Micronetics has acquired the substantially all of the business assets of Vectronics Microwave Corp. Headquartered in Middlesex, NJ, Vectronics manufactures microwave control components, such as phase shifters, switches, attenuators, and vector modulators.

Now that the acquisition is complete, Micronetics will integrate Vectronics products with its Switching Products Group. In addition, John Vogler, founder and president of Vectronics will join Micronetics' technical staff.

Based in Hudson, NH, Micronetics Wireless designs and manufactures a range of test equipment and components for the design, test, and manufacture of cellular, PCS, wireless local loop (WLL), and satellite equipment. Through its Switching Products Group, the company also develops components for radar, electronic intelligence, wireless communication, and simulation applications.
