Live From IMS2011: Rogers Boosts Thermal Conductivity In New High-Frequency Laminates
Joey Kellner, product manager for Rogers Corporation, introduces us to the newest member of the company's RT/duroid product line for high-power applications in the high-reliability and defense markets — the RT/duroid 6035HTC high-frequency laminate. This printed circuit board (PCB) material has high thermal conductivity of 1.44 W/m-K, z-axis dielectric constant of 3.5., and low loss tangent of 0.0013 at 10 GHz. The laminate also features a unique filler system that is non-abrasive, minimizing its impact on drillability and tool life.
