Live From IMS2011: New Tool For Testing High-Power And Small-Signal RF Amplifiers

Bob Muro, application group manager/product marketing, Wireless Telecom Group (WTG), describes Boonton's new Amplifier Test Bench software, which integrates Boonton power meters with your existing synthesizer system to enable power over frequency, gain over frequency, and VSWR measurements of active or passive devices. He also demonstrates the software's capabilities on a passive filter with a bandwidth of 2 to 4 GHz.
