Live From IMS2011: Gore Introduces New Rugged Assembly For High-Throughput RF Test

Paul Pino, applications engineer at W. L. Gore & Associates, shows us various RF/microwave cables, shielding and gasket materials, a self-supporting planar cable, and even a submarine cable from Gore's product line-up. Of note is the newest addition to the company's GORE PHASEFLEX product line — an 18 GHz cable assembly designed for high throughput production test applications in the wireless infrastructure market. The "0G" features internally ruggedized construction and a large coupling nut that enables accurate connection and disconnection without the use of a torque wrench.
