LC Filters For Frequency Control

With rapid prototyping, PDI offers a quick turn-around for any frequency from 5 MHz to 100 MHz. For higher frequencies, the engineering team will work with you to design the right custom filter to meet your needs.

The initial standard line of Bandpass LC Filters has a 10% bandwidth in the frequency range of 5 MHz to 100 MHz. Depending on your requirements these can have either 40dB (3:1 shape factor) or 60dB (3:1 or 2.5:1 shape factor) stopband attenuation characteristics.

These filters will be able to work in a wide range of operating temperatures from -55°C to +105°C suited to industrial, military, and space applications. The return loss of the standard series is guaranteed to be 12 dB minimum across the band of interest. Typically this will be 15 dB minimum both on S11 and S22 measurements.

Filters requiring 40dB stopband attenuation are in a small SMD package. For filters requiring 60dB attenuation and higher selectivity, a larger SMD package is available. Custom packaging is also available, including through-hole and connectorized options. Manufacturing and reliability methods can be incorporated for products that require special hermetic and ruggedizing applications.

Each filter above has an impedance of 50 Ohms/Custom, Ripple/insertion loss of 1.0dB Max./4.0dB Typical, Passband of 10% of Center Freq. ± Min and Temperature Optional.
