Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS)

Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) is a broadband data, voice and video acquisition system designed to provide seamless real-time communications among war fighters. K&L's JTRS is a Low-Loss High Power Notch Combiner product designed to combine various transceivers to one antenna, while mitigating RF interferences with Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) platforms. This module is a 3-port device. The low channel passes RF energy from DC to 920 MHz. The high channel passes from 1270 MHz to 2000 MHz, while JTIDS signals are attenuated by 45 dB. The unit is moisture sealed and mechanically rugged to operate under extreme environmental conditions. RF performance is optimized by combining cavity, lumped element and suspended-substrate technologies.
