Integrated Cosite Equipment (ICE)
Pole/Zero's Integrated Cosite Equipment (ICE) represents an evolution of our standard filter products through utilization of various standard filter elements to achieve highly integrated designs. ICE typically incorporates a cascade of tunable filter modules and low noise amplifiers to provide excellent selectivity throughout the tuning range. It provides high dynamic range performance for operation in medium to high level cosite environments. ICE often incorporates output power limiting in receive paths and low broadband noise power amplifiers in transmit paths to achieve narrowband filtering in the presence of high level interferers.
ICE1000 Series
The ICE1000 Series is typically utilized in applications that require broad frequency coverage in a small package. ICE1000 provides a minimum amount of filtering across a broad tuning range.
ICE2000 Series
The ICE2000 Series provides a modest amount of filtering typically in the VHF and/or UHF band. ICE2000 hardware may incorporate transmit and receive switching as well as a power amplifier capable of transmitting at a level approximately equivalent to a radio.
ICE3000 Series
The ICE3000 Series provides excellent selectivity in high cosite environments primarily through the implementation of filter/amplifier cascades. ICE3000 typically incorporates additional capabilities such as gain limiting for the receive path, low broadband noise/high power amplifiers in the transmit path, or other enhancements for good cosite performance.
ICE4000 Series
The ICE4000 Series achieves narrow band selectivity in high cosite environments typically through incorporation of TRAK-POLE® technology. ICE4000 provides narrowband transmit filer/amplification, and in several cases incorporates receive filtering to improve sensitivity performance.
ICE5000 Series
The ICE5000 Series incorporates several advanced technologies to achieve highly selective performance for extreme cosite environments. ICE5000 provides narrowband pre-selection with gain and power limiting for receive protection against strong interferers. It also incorporates high power transmit amplification with low broadband noise performance for operation in dense cosite applications.
