Integra Announces New 380W S-Band GaN Pallet

Ready to Sample 380W 2.7-3.0 GHz GaN Pallet for S-band Radar.

Integra Technologies, Inc. (ITI), a leading manufacturer of high-power pulsed RF transistors, pallets and amplifiers, recently announces the release of a 380W pallet, IGNP2730M380, for S-band radar systems.

“This ultra-miniature pallet uses just a single Integra Technologies GaN transistor and so eliminates the cost and size disadvantages associated with competing products that use two GaN transistors and a pair of hybrid dividers/combiners. Even though the pallet uses just a single transistor it can still withstand a 5:1 VSWR mismatch due the extreme ruggedness of Integra’s GaN transistors. This pallet places Integra at the forefront of the S band radar pallet market.” says Dr. John Walker, Integra’s European Sales manager.

IGNP2730M380 operates over the instantaneous bandwidth of 2.7 – 3.0 GHz. With 150ms pulse width and 15% duty-cycle pulsing conditions it supplies a minimum of 380W of peak output power with typically >11dB minimum gain and 58% efficiency from a 50V supply voltage.
