ICS Laboratories, with practices focused in the area’s of optics and spectroscopy, is able to address a broad range of materials characterizations and assessments. Complimenting these capabilities, we offer a full range of environmental conditioning as well as mechanical assessments for impact, abrasion and adhesion of materials and coatings.

Our optics capability allow us to serve the eyewear community in ophthalmic eyewear, sunglasses and protective eyewear for industrial, military and sports usage. Our spectroradiometry capabilities provide the ability to characterize varied sources including LED’s, and Information Display’s.

ICS Certification Services, provides conformity assessment and product certification services to international standards. The resultant data from testing performed by ICS Laboratories is utilized as the basis for conformity assessments to standards for the ICS CAT mark -- a federally registered certification mark of International Certification Services. ICS Certification Services in cooperation with other certification bodies, provides certification services for other marks such as CE (European), CSA (Canada) and NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
