How To Efficiently Design Power Transformers

Power transformers require optimized efficiency to make sure that a minimum amount of losses are generated from the various physical phenomena. The Flux Finite Element studies permit transformer designers to accurately analyze different losses to enhance the performance of the transformers. This white paper discusses a few steady-state and transient tests that determine the electrical and mechanical constraints power transformers will have to endure in their life.
