Hittite Introduces 0.01 To 27 GHz Connectorized Wideband Amplifier Modules

The HMC-C023 and the HMC-C026 are Wideband Power Amplifier Modules which operate from 2 to 20 GHz and deliver +26 dBm of output P1dB. The HMC-C026 also features 3 dB noise figure at midband, and a high 29 dB of gain, allowing it to replace two or more amplifier stages in applications which require higher gain.
The HMC-C016, HMC-C017 and HMC-C022 are Wideband Low Noise Amplifier Modules with frequency coverage from 2 to 27 GHz. These wideband LNAs offer noise figures as low as 2 dB, and up to 22 dB of gain and +18 dBm of output P1dB.
For applications which require operation to lower frequencies, the HMC-C024 Wideband Driver Amplifier Module is rated from 10 MHz to 20 GHz. This driver amplifier delivers 15 dB gain, 3 dB noise figure and +23 dBm of output P1dB. The HMC-C024 also exhibits +/- 2 degrees of deviation from linear phase, and a saturated output voltage of 10V peak to peak, making it suitable for OC192 fiber optic LN/MZ modulator driver applications.
The RF I/Os of each of these hermetic modules are internally matched to 50 Ohms, and internally DC blocked for added protection. Removable SMA connectors are provided to facilitate mating with standard coaxial cable assemblies, or the connectors can be quickly detached for direct connection of the module's I/O pins to a microstrip or grounded coplanar printed circuit board. Integrated DC voltage regulators allow for flexible biasing of both the negative and positive supply inputs, while internal bias sequencing circuitry assures robust operation. Each of these amplifier modules is unconditionally stable, rated for operation from -55C to +85C, and can be assembled and screened for military and space applications.
