High Power Limiters For Defense And Security Applications
HUBER+SUHNER high power limiters are designed as integral security systems for sensitive receivers to protect against front door coupler high power electromagnetic energy such as HPM/HIRF, HEMP, and LEMP. With a low threshold level, a maximum input power of 25 W CW, and a 1 kW beam peak, these limiters are ideal for radar signals environments on board naval vessels.
High power limiters are able to secure system availability of mission critical hardware under intentional electromagnetic radiation. Additional features include linear broadband operation, minimum residual pulse energy, and threshold levels of 6 dBm or 12 dBm. These limiters may be used in an array of defense applications such as Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Command, Control, Communication intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C3ISR) or Ship’s Signal Exploitation.
