Glowlink Announces 180 MHz Ultra Wideband Satellite Spectrum Monitoring System
Glowlink recently announced an ultra wideband satellite spectrum monitoring system. The new product, Model 1010, has an instantaneous front-end bandwidth up to 180 MHz, more than twice that of other similar products on the market and incorporates the company's patented and cutting-edge DSP technologies. The Model 1010 vastly improves the ability of satellite owners and users to monitor ultra wide-bandwidth carriers, and to detect and identify tough interferences.
"With the Model 1010, high-capacity satellites such as those in the US Government's WGS constellation can have a powerful tool to monitor across a range of operational scenarios, including ultra-wide bandwidth traffic," said Michael Downey, Glowlink CTO. "This capability is also crucial to commercial satellites operators and users who want to exert positive spectral management and control for high-impact, wide-bandwidth users such as the US Government."
Glowlink is currently under contract to develop, install, train and operationally support the US Government's WGS Spectrum Monitoring System (WGSMS) for the WGS constellation.
