13.75 - 14.5 GHz 40 Watt GaN Power Amplifier: QPA1314 Datasheet

Source: Qorvo

Qorvo's QPA1314 is a high-power, packaged monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) amplifier designed for satellite communication (Satcom) applications in the 13.75-14.5 GHz frequency band. Fabricated on Qorvo's proprietary 0.15 um GaN on SiC process, the QPA1314 delivers exceptional performance and reliability.

The amplifier offers a linear power output of 20W with low intermodulation distortion (IMD), ensuring high-quality signal transmission. For applications demanding higher power levels, the QPA1314 can deliver up to 40W of output power with a large signal gain of 27 dB. Additionally, it achieves a power-added efficiency (PAE) of 30%, making it an energy-efficient solution.

The QPA1314 is packaged in a 10-lead, bolt-down package with a copper base for superior thermal management. Its 50-ohm input and output impedance and DC-grounded I/O ports simplify system integration and provide optimal electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.

Ideal for both commercial and military applications, the QPA1314 is a versatile amplifier that can support various communications and radar systems. It is 100% DC and RF tested to ensure compliance with electrical specifications and is RoHS and lead-free compliant.
