2 - 26 GHz GaAs Surface Mount LO Driver Amplifier: AMM-9619PSM Datasheet

The AMM-9619PSM is a compact surface-mount amplifier designed for applications requiring reliable performance across a wide frequency range.

Housed in a 4 mm QFN package, it is optimized for seamless integration into printed circuit boards, making it ideal for modern electronic systems.

This amplifier is highly versatile, serving as a single-tone driver or a general-purpose gain block. Operating from 2 to 26 GHz, it is particularly effective as a driver for L or H diode mixers. With a low noise figure of 1.6 dB (typical) between 8 and 18 GHz, the AMM-9619PSM ensures high signal fidelity, making it suitable for demanding applications.

A key feature of the AMM-9619PSM is its positive gain slope, which compensates for frequency-dependent losses, enhancing overall system performance. It also exhibits excellent input and output return losses, reducing signal reflections and improving efficiency.

Applications for this amplifier include mobile test and measurement equipment, radar, satellite communications, and as a driver amplifier for H and S diode mixers. Its compact design and exceptional performance make it a strong candidate for systems prioritizing size, weight, and power (SWaP) considerations.

The AMM-9619PSM’s combination of wide frequency range, low noise, high gain, and compact packaging ensures its suitability for a variety of high-performance RF and microwave systems. S-parameter files are available for download to facilitate design and simulation processes.
