Generating Eye Diagrams In VectorStar VNAs

A VectorStar™ VNA is available with the feature option to calculate an eye diagram representation of what the current RF performance measurement would do to a digital data stream. Generating an eye diagram enables the visualization of any possible data stream signal integrity issues on a given transmission path, and helps to build subsystem simulation results. Since an eye diagram computation is per-trace, a single channel can be configured with frequency domain, time domain impulse response, and TDR-like and eye diagram traces simultaneously, and all responding to the same live data.
