FreeWave Launches 900 MHz High-Throughput Radios

Boulder, CO -- FreeWave Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of spread spectrum radios, announced the 900 MHz FGR-HTplus, the latest addition to FreeWave's spread spectrum family of Ethernet radio solutions.

The FGR-HTplus 900 MHz radio provides a range of more than 60 miles that can be extended further through the use of repeaters. This solution delivers the same reliability and versatility of FreeWave's FGR series, while also fulfilling the needs of customers requiring an industrial-grade high throughput Ethernet radio. The FGR-HTplus is suitable for mission-critical applications. The radio's frequency-hopping technology provides interference rejection.

"The FGR-HTplus radio's high throughput, great distance capabilities, remarkable receive sensitivity, wide temperature range and durability, coupled with a best-in-class warranty and competitive pricing, make this product the right choice," says Colin Lippincott, vice president, sales and marketing. "For mission-critical applications, where your data counts and has to get there and be accurate, there isn't a better solution than the FGR-HTplus."

The FGR-HTplus will be available for shipment in May.
