The Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems foundry offers on-wafer RF testing beyond 110 GHz, process design kits for millimeter wave, low noise, and power applications optimization, 100mm volume wafer fabrication facilities, advanced process technologies enabling differentiating MMIC and system performance, an in-house multi-wafer Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) for precision control of device doping profiles, and more.
Northrop Grumman’s Aerospace Systems foundry is located in Redondo Beach, CA. This facility processes commercial volumes of hetero-junction bipolar transistor (HBT) and high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) monolithic microwave and millimeter wave integrated circuits (MMICs). These circuits are then used in commercial markets like cellular and broadband wireless systems, and in aerospace/defense and scientific applications.
