Flat Planar Antennas: SENCITY®Matrix
This family of flat, highly directional planar antennas work for 60 and 70/80 GHz. They have a very low profile, a light weight, and feature a design much smaller than conventional antennas. They’ve been designed to be a part of heterogeneous network comprised of small cell sites.
As data traffic continues to rise, the use of small cell sites for processing wireless data has become more popular. Since copper or wire solutions are rarely available to connect the cells, wireless backhaul solutions are essential components of the larger network.
SENCITY planar antennas are flat, light, compact, and aesthetically pleasing. Their design allows operators to access rooftop, wall and street-level sites, lampposts, street signs, and kiosks. They’ve been designed to replace traditional parabolic antenna setups that often ran into technical or environmental issues, or even city planning restrictions.
