Extreme Hybrid Cable System: MASTERLINE
This hybrid cable system is ideal for Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA) installations at cell sites, and has been proven to cut installation time in half when compared to other hybrid solutions based on corrugated coax cable designs.
MASTERLINE is a pre-terminated hybrid cable assembly that minimizes the amount of cables running up the mast. This feature, along with the terminated plug and play system, and highly flexible and easy-to-route cable make it ideal for operators, system vendors, and installers at cell sites working in Fiber to the Antenna (FTTA) installations.
The optical fiber and DC power cable are split into individual ruggedized outdoor cables (linked to RRHs) through a compact power divider. The link can be direct or via extension jumpers. The RRH jumpers allow an adaptation to different RRH interfaces and therefore make the solution independent from the system vendor’s hardware.
