Entech Software

Entech Software was founded in 1990. The two products that Entech Software developed were a Training Management System, Training Director, and a Safety Management System, Safety Director. These original programs were designed with the help of both Fortune 500 Companies as well as small privately owned companies providing feedback of what their needs were in managing their Safety and Training related information. The most innovative technology was used in the development of the original versions.

During the time from 1990 to 1996 based on customer feedback there were many different functionality changes made to both Safety Director and Training Director. In 1997 Entech Software, made a major technological upgrade to both products and created the upgrade version of Training Director and Safety Director.

Training Director was renamed Resource Director and came packaged with Resource Director Online, which was an online utility for companies to use via the web in conjunction with the Client/Server version of Resource Director. Safety Director kept the same name and was package with Safety Director Online. In Entech Software knew that the market for Safety and Training Management software via the Internet or Intranet was the future of the industry. This is why the online utilities of RDOL and SDOL were created. It gave the customers of Entech Software an idea of what the future had in store.

Entech software has now released (January 2002) its newest version of Training Director called, Training Director Online. This is a total web based Training Management Solution which can be run via the Internet or a companies Intranet. The newest version of Safety Director, Safety Director Online is expected to be released (March 2002) will also be run 100% via the web. The advantage is many smaller customers can just pay a small monthly fee to Manage all their Safety and Training Data by just having an internet connection. Also, larger companies can have a total web based Safety and Training Management system available to everyone in the organization from the first line employee to the president of the company through their own company intranet.
