EMI Filters
These EMI Filters are designed to meet the requirements of Mil-PRF-28861, and use hermetic, glass-sealed cases and a state-of-the-art encapsulant which meets NASA’s stringent outgassing requirements for use in Space. The high quality gold plating and high temperature Gold-Tin internal construction allows for optimum hermeticity after installation, as well as thru multiple thermal cycles during its application.
These EMI Filters are most commonly used in Solid-State Power Amplifiers aboard Space satellites. These Emi Filters allow for clean power to the amplifiers by eliminating any electromagnetic interference. Other common uses would be in various electronic modules aboard aircraft and other transportation platforms where a very high level of hermeticity and reliability are required.
