Electronic Attack Subsystems
SAS has developed and deployed Electronic Attack Subsystems on multiple fixed-wing and ground mobile vehicles. Our equipment provides cost effective solutions to interrupt and defeat the operation of enemy radar and communication systems. Our expertise encompasses high power transmit antennas, solid state and TWT based high power amplifiers, RF signal generation and modulation (exciters) and power generation subsystems.
Radar Countermeasures
SAS developed and delivered the Band 9/10 Transmitter for the EA-6B and EA-18G AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System. Key to achieving cost effective long range standoff jamming was development of technology to allow coherent RF combining of multiple high power TWT amplifiers.
Communications Countermeasures
SAS developed and delivered the Low Band Transmitter – Antenna Group for the EA-6B and EA-18G AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System. Key to achieving the broad bandwidth capability was the development of missionized antennas and high power solid state amplifiers.
High Power Transmit Antennas
SAS has developed very high power antennas for fixed and ground mobile applications. These antennas have been used in jamming systems, threat simulators and communication systems.
Exciters
Exciter expertise encompasses both radar and communications waveform generation using both analog and digital techniques. Signal generation via Direct Digital Synthesis allows fast tuning, programmability and flexible modulation.
