Elanix and Insight Partner to Provide Xilinx DSP Solutions

Elanix, Inc.ke Village, California, November 9, 1998 -- <%=company%> has signed an agreement with Insight Electronics and Memec Design Services to address the needs of designers using FPGAs to implement DSP functions. The agreement enables Insight to distribute and support SystemView by <%=company%>, a leading Windows-hosted system-level design tool for wireless and DSP applications. In addition, Insight has incorporated SystemView into a starter kit for Xilinx FPGA-based DSP applications. This will enable designers of DSP applications to easily explore the benefits for implementing a particular DSP function in an FPGA.

Insight will distribute SystemView throughout the Americas, including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. In addition to providing support through Insight applications engineers, Memec Design Centers will develop expertise in using SystemView to provide in-depth support to customers designing complex DSP and wireless applications. In particular, Insight will focus on the use of SystemView in helping design DSP applications based on Xilinx FPGA's, for which Insight is a major distributor. The agreement is effective immediately.

Insight's DSP Starter Kit provides a complete tools and hardware evaluation kit for designers who wish to implement DSP functions in an FPGA. In addition to an evaluation copy of SystemView by <%=company%>, the DSP Starter Kit consists of an evaluation board with an XCS30 Spartan FPGA, an analog interface board, download cables, and Xilinx Core Generator, DSP LogiCORE IP, and Foundation series software. The DSP Starter Kit is available immediately from Insight Electronics.
