Research Triangle Park, NC – DuPont Microcircuit Materials announced the introduction of two new DuPont Green Tape low temperature co-fired ceramic material systems, 943 KX and 943 PX for low loss high frequency applications. Designed for use in military phased array and automotive short range radar, these new products offer reliability, lower loss, and lower cost vs. comparable organic board material systems.

"Meeting the demands of the high frequency military radar and automotive safety system markets is extremely challenging, as those markets demand higher performance with lower costs," and John Voultos, regional segment manager, telecom and high frequency, DuPont Microcircuit Materials. "Both DuPont Green Tape 943 KX and 943 PX offerings provide a robust, hermetic solution utilizing Au and Ag mixed metal conductor systems."

DuPont presented this new offering, along with its portfolio of microcircuit materials, at the IEEE MTT-S show last week in Long Beach, CA.
