DiTom Microwave Receives Order From Major U.S. Satellite Manufacturing Company

DiTom Microwave has received a contract from a major U.S. satellite manufacturing company for thermal vacuum (TVAC) compatible X and Ka band isolators. Under the contract agreement, DiTom will supply ferrite isolators for the Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) program. These isolators will be used in a thermal vacuum environment where low outgassing materials are critical for space ground support testing.

The manufacturing work will be performed at DiTom’s facility in Fresno, California and is expected to be completed by the beginning of Q4 FY2013. “This contract solidifies that we are making progress towards space qualification,” said Mark Weisz, President and CEO of DiTom Microwave. “This is our fourth space customer in just over 2 years and our first order with this satellite manufacturing company. We look forward to a long-term successful relationship with this partner.”
