Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)

Bird offers distributed antenna system (DAS) networks designed for use in wireless voice and data services (GSM, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA, LTE), and for other applications such as broadcasting and public safety (FM, TETRA, P25).

From off-air repeaters and DAS to low PIM components, the complete portfolio of Bird products offers one-stop shopping for entire systems. Click on the product names below for more information on each family of network solutions.

Fiber DAS – Distributed antenna systems supporting frequencies from FM to 2.6 GHz all on a single fiber, and most modulation schemes from P25 and Tetra to LTE.

Cellular Repeaters – Efficient solutions for driving a fiber or coax DAS when a dedicated base station is not available.

LMR Signal Boosters – Boosters primarily used to solve coverage problems in typically impenetrable areas such as buildings, tunnels, parking garages, and underground areas.
