Direct GPS-Over-Fiber Solution
HUBER+SUHNER’s direct GPS-Over-Fiber (GPSoF) solution is designed to enable a fiber optic connection directly into an antenna for the world’s first “truly copperless” link. This solution uses HUBER+SUHNER’s Q-ODC fiber optic interface, making it perfect for applications that have limited power resources and for use in outdoors or harsh environments.
The GPSoF solution reduces the amount of hardware required in a link due to the core functionality being integrated antenna. Additional features include laser safety features compliant with all IEC standards, simple installation, support for link distances of up to 10 km, and unlimited flexibility in signal distribution.
