DC-18 GHz Passive MMIC Surface Mount Quadplexer: MMPX-00002PSM Datasheet

The MMPX-00002PSM is a passive MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) quadplexer designed to multiplex signals across four distinct frequency bands: DC–6 GHz, 8–10 GHz, 12–14 GHz, and 16–18 GHz. Utilizing advanced GaAs MMIC technology, this component delivers high-performance signal routing in a compact 6 x 6 mm QFN surface-mount package. It is engineered to replace bulky discrete filter networks traditionally used on circuit boards, significantly reducing system size and complexity.

A key advantage of the MMPX-00002PSM is its tight fabrication tolerance, which results in minimal unit-to-unit variation. This consistency enhances simulation accuracy and simplifies the design process. Accurate SnP (S-parameter) files based on measured production units are provided to support precise system modeling and integration.

With excellent return loss, a high crossover frequency of 11 GHz, and strong band-to-band isolation, the MMPX-00002PSM is well-suited for high-frequency applications where signal integrity is critical. Target use cases include satellite communications, electronic warfare systems, and reflectionless filter designs—applications that demand both wideband performance and compact implementation.

This quadplexer complies with RoHS and REACH standards and is classified under EAR99 for export control, making it broadly deployable across global markets. For evaluation and rapid prototyping, the EVB-MMPX-00002P evaluation board is also available.

In summary, the MMPX-00002PSM offers a powerful combination of compact size, wideband signal multiplexing, and consistent performance, making it an ideal solution for high-frequency RF systems requiring efficient signal channelization in space-constrained environments.
