DC - 22 GHz MMIC 2-Way High Isolation Power Divider/Power Splitter: MPBR-0022CSP3 Datasheet

The MPBR-0022CSP3 is a compact MMIC power divider/power splitter designed for broadband applications from DC to 22 GHz.

Packaged in a miniature 3.5 mm CSP3 chip-scale format, it provides significant size reduction compared to traditional printed PCB-based power dividers and combiners, making it an excellent choice for applications where low size, weight, and power (SWaP) are critical.

This device delivers standout performance with 35 dB isolation and 4.6 dB insertion loss, enabling highly accurate equal-amplitude and phase splitting. It can also operate as a power combiner, offering superior isolation compared to standard Wilkinson designs. This enhanced isolation is particularly beneficial in applications where signal leakage between output ports must be minimized, such as phased array systems, high-performance test equipment, and sensitive RF front ends.

Another key advantage of the MPBR-0022CSP3 is its tight fabrication tolerances, which result in lower unit-to-unit variation than conventional power divider technologies. This manufacturing precision allows engineers to rely on accurate simulations using the provided measured S3P data files, simplifying design integration and reducing development time.

With its ultra-small surface-mount footprint, the MPBR-0022CSP3 is especially well-suited for next-generation communication, radar, and electronic warfare systems where PCB real estate is at a premium. For applications that require lower insertion loss while maintaining broadband performance, the companion MPBR-0122CSP3 device offers an alternative solution.
