Fremont, Calif. – dB Control, an international defense electronics manufacturer, will exhibit custom TWT amplifiers, microwave power modules (MPMs), high-voltage power supplies, RF receivers and RF sources for complex ground mobile, maritime and airborne defense applications in Booth 5102 at IMS, June 19-23 in Denver, Colorado.

dB Control’s high-power, helix and coupled cavity Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (TWTAs) are fielded to support radar, EW, ECM and data link applications. The TWTAs cover the 1-50 GHz frequency range and are available with continuous wave or pulsed power. Built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, dB Control’s TWTAs are suitable for shipboard and ground-based mobile systems, as well as unpressurized airborne environments.

“dB Control’s TWT amplifiers incorporate our proprietary potting and encapsulation processes. This enables extremely dense packaging without sacrificing reliability or performance,” said dB Control Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Lee.

dB Control will also feature three Microwave Power Modules (MPMs) at IMS: the millimeter-wave Q-band dB-3205 (43.5-45.5 GHz, 80W CW) for secure satellite communications, the high performance dB-3201H (30-38 GHz, 125 Watts, pulsed to CW) for ECM and EW simulation, and the high efficiency dB-3756HE (9-10 GHz, 1kW pulsed, 20% max duty cycle) for high-resolution synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems on both manned and unmanned platforms.

Rounding out the company’s high-power products at IMS are its new custom RF sources and receivers, including the dB-9003 Integrated Stabilized RF Source (8- 12 GHz and 30- 36 GHz, I- and Kaband frequency range) with four types of modulation (AM, four modes of FM, Phase, Pulse); the dB2348 DC to DC Converter (+1500 VDC to +10 VDC @ 43 Amps, 100 mVrms max, 3% max voltage variation over line, load and temperature) and the dB-2347-01 Decoy Power Supply for airborne platforms (6.4 VDC input, 68 Amps output).

New at IMS this year is dB Control’s family of custom RF and microwave components and assemblies, including PIN Diode Switches, PIN Attenuators, Switch Matrices, Switch Filter Banks, Detector Log Video Amplifiers (DLVAs) and Custom Assemblies and Subsystems.
