Communication Certification Laboratory (CCL) offers complete testing services for the information technology and telecommunications industry. A major change in the way that governments regulate telecommunications products occurred in 1975, when the FCC Part 68 program took effect. The FCC began permitting the customer to own and connect their own telephone equipment directly to the telephone network. Since that date a number of other countries have opened their markets as well. Such changes have now made it possible for telecommunications equipment manufacturers to sell their products to customers throughout the world.
