This combline cavity filter covers the 962 to 1213 MHz frequency range and features broadband rejection, high power handling, tight cutoff, and a hermetically sealed, compact design. It’s been specifically designed for use in JTIDS, MIDS, and MIDS-J Link 16 communications applications.
Link 16 is the standard battlefield data link for national and NATO forces. Link 16 receivers are subjected to all kinds of interference. This can be caused through adjoining friendly communications systems, or from EW (electronic warfare) countermeasures.
