Cobham To Exhibit At The Association Of The United States Army's 2012 Annual Meeting & Exposition

Cobham will exhibit a variety of land warfare related products during the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) 2012 Annual Meeting & Exposition, 22-24 October, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC USA.

Cobham’s exhibit will be located in Booth #8143 in Hall D on the upper level of the Convention Center. While no media briefings have been scheduled, Cobham personnel will be available to discuss their products with interested media. Cobham’s exhibit will be open daily from 0900 through 1700.

Cobham’s exhibit will showcase how the company is helping to network the current and future force, protect and empower Soldiers, and modernize the U.S. Army with leading edge aerospace and defense products, technologies, and services, including:

  • Antennas & SATCOM Systems – handheldUHFSATCOM antennas, X-band μSat (Microsat), Gx- and L-band Inmarsat, and ground TACSAT (MUOS) SATCOM terminals.
  • Defense Electronics – ground datalink terminal products, Wireless Network After Next (WNaN) mesh radios, PinPoint gunshot detection systems, RPG Active Threat radar Sensors, tag-track-locate (TTL) technologies and smart munitions.
  • Life Support products – on-board inert gas generating systems (OBIGGS) for AH-64 Apache helicopters.
  • Safety & Survivability products – integrated / mobile aircrew restraint system (I/MARS) / mobile aircrew vest interface (MAVI); pre-tensioning aircrew restraint systems (PARS); vacuum packed life raft; ballistic powered interia reel.
  • Tactical Communications & Surveillance – VIC-5 (VIS-X) future ground combat vehicles intercom systems, transmitters and receivers, and tracking management software.
  • Unmanned Systems – TeleMAX EOD robot, a remotely-operated ground system capable of counter-IED operations.
