CEL Launches CATV GaAs Hybrid Amplifiers For 1 GHz Networks

Santa Clara, CA -- California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) has announced the addition of two new Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) to its growing family of NEC GaAs CATV hybrid amplifiers. Both feature bandwidth of 40 to 1000 MHz for high output capacity, and both are offered in RoHS-compliant industry-standard packages. With 22.5 dB gain, the MC-7832-HA Push-Pull Amplifier is designed to serve as an input stage for line amplifiers, nodes, splitters, trunk amplifiers and bridgers in bandwidth-hungry networks. Its low noise and high linearity help ensure reliable delivery of digital content.
With 19 dB gain, the MC-7891 broadens the performance options in NEC's family of 1 GHz Power Doublers. It also features excellent linearity making it suitable for the delivery of digital programming.
Assembly and DC/RF testing of these modules are fully automated at NEC, ensuring consistency and reliability. Housed in 7-pin packages, they're designed to drop into and enhance the performance of existing networks. Both are in stock and available now.
