Cardinal, Ansoft Announce Joint Engineering Development

Source: Ansoft LLC
Ansoft LLC NJ-based <%=company%> has announced a joint-engineering development with Pittsburgh, PA-based Ansoft Corp., a developer of electronic design automation (EDA) tools for wireless, RF, and microwave applications. Under the pact, Cardinal will provide Ansoft with measured crystal parametric data which will be used in Ansoft's Serenade 8 simulation software library.

The analog and digital sections of Serenade 8 include Cardinal's crystal test data over the last three years of production runs. Thus, Ansoft's library now includes accurate, real-world data for crystals, as accumulated by Cardinal.

The Serenade 8 design environment combines a range of circuit, system, and electromagnetic tools for simulating the performance of RF and microwave systems. This Windows-based tool provides an intuitive environment that allows the engineer to maximize productivity while facilitating data transfer between the simulator and other tools, such as word processors and presentation software.
