Broadwave Launches SMA/FAKRA SMB Adapter For Automotive Test Applications

Franklin, IN -- BroadWave Technologies has developed a new SMA female to FAKRA SMB male adapter that mates to FAKRA SMB female connectors. Model 412491315 interconnects within the embedded plastic housing of standard FAKRA connectors.

This unit operates DC to 4 GHz, has VSWR < 1.2:1 and insertion loss is 0.5 dB maximum (0.3 dB nominal). Interconnect yield for these adapters are high as less force is required thus eliminating damage due to friction and shock.

These units are suited for automotive test applications particularly satellite radio, GPS and vehicular internet access.

Other adapter configurations are available. Please consult the factory for a model number of a particular connector configuration.
