Bomar Interconnect Products Inc

Bomar Interconnect Products was founded in 1990 by Robert Behrent, the company's president, and was incorporated in the state of New Jersey. Bomar's charter is to market its product line of high quality RF, D-Subminiature, Modular and other types of data transmission connectors and related accessory products through a network of distributors nation-wide. Additionally, Bomar sells directly to the larger Original Equipment Manufacturers within the computer and computer peripherals, LAN, instrumentation, and broadcast markets. Distribution plays a key roll in the sales of the products. Bomar franchises electronic, electrical, and catalog sales distributors to market Bomar products from local, regional and national levels. Regional warehouses are in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and in the New York City area at Bomars Ledgewood, NJ headquarters to service Bomar Interconnects national customer base.

In 1993 Bomar purchased dominant interest in its primary subcontract manufacturer of RF connectors facilitating full control over production, quality control, and new product design and development. Some less popular, and economy products are manufactured to Bomars specifications, and/or custom designs at several subcontract manufacturers based in several Pacific Rim countries.
