Board-to-Board Connector

A low-profile one-piece board stacking connector that uses MOBO SOLO technology to enable board stack heights as low as 1.5 mm. The connector's design enables a secure board-to-board connection even if the boards are not perfectly parallel. The 9158 Series connector features a dual row of contacts and 1 mm pitch with board stacking heights between 1.5 mm and 5 mm, making it suitable for mobile communications and handheld electronic applications.

The connectors are available with four to 40 contact positions, and the gold-plated "nose" of the top contacts is rated at 1A and 125 V per contact force 15 g to 35 g. The family was developed to meet the interconnection needs of mobile communication equipment including links with radio of telephone handsets to lapel microphones, security devices, programming connections, computer data input cables and other similar devices.
