Applying Error Correction To Vector Network Analyzer Measurements
Source: Keysight Technologies
Imperfections in instruments can sometimes cause measurement errors that are displayed as considerable loss and ripple in the collected data. This application note covers multiple calibration procedures for the correction of such errors, and their effectiveness is illustrated with the measurement of high-frequency components such as filters. Calibrations are also shown for those cases requiring coaxial adapters to connect the test equipment, DUT, and calibration standards.
